Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your Macrox account at any time. Deletion uses a 30-day grace period so you can cancel if you change your mind.

How to delete your account

  • In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account → confirm your request.
  • By email: send a request from your registered email to pri@eatease.ai.
  • During the 30-day grace period: you can still log in and tap Cancel deletion in the app to restore your account.
  • Subscriptions (iOS): deleting your Macrox account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel Macrox Pro separately under iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.

Data permanently deleted after grace

  • Profile, email, and login credentials
  • Food logs, saved meals, and receipt/inventory data
  • Weight, water, measurements, streaks, and coach history
  • Progress photos (removed from storage within 24 hours)
  • Reminders, goals, and device push tokens
  • Discovery profile and community membership tied to your account

What may remain (anonymized)

  • Chat messages you sent may stay in other users' chats and community group chats, but your name is replaced with “Deleted user”.
  • Community posts you published may remain visible to members until removed by moderation or anonymized.
  • Reports about or by you may be kept in anonymized form for safety and legal compliance.
  • Aggregated analytics that cannot identify you.
  • Communities you created may transfer to another admin or be archived.
IMPORTANT

After the 30-day grace period, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Export your data first from Settings → Privacy & Safety → Download my data if you need a copy.
